Brain is the first PSA from Concerned Children's Advertisers, which tells the story about a human brain making changes when people use drugs.
In this PSA, the human brain is an actual model being made from an intricate web of glowing electrical circuits; as it progresses, a pair of wire cutters clips them off, eventually becoming a ruin.
Crack is the second PSA from CCA; it tells the story of how crack (or cocaine) took the lives of over 5 thousand people in Canada and the United States in the past 2 years.
Producing both the Brain and Crack PSAs from CCA was Cossette, Inc.
The narrator in the Brain and Crack PSAs is a young woman.
One dimension defines the female narrator in the Brain and Crack PSAs, echoing the name of Marilyn Monroe's early-1950's film being released after her breakthrough in 1950:
- As young as she sounds: Young, hot, sexy, sultry, beautiful, smooth, steamy, seductive, soulful, fierce/fiery, soft, soothing, breathy, smouldering, gut-wrenching and emotive
